These terms describe the small set of rules that keep Touristic a pleasant place for everyone. By browsing the site, subscribing to the newsletter or buying from the shop, you agree to what follows.

Editorial content

Every article, photograph and illustration on Touristic is created by our team or licensed from contributors. You are very welcome to share a link or quote a short passage with credit, but please ask before republishing a story in full or using our images in your own work.

Practical advice

We do our best to keep our recommendations honest and current, but travel changes fast, restaurants close, trains shift their timetables and small villages rename their streets. Use our guides as inspiration and confirm the details before you go.

The shop

Items in the shop are made in small batches, mostly by hand, and shipped from Portugal. Prices include VAT where applicable. If something arrives damaged or simply does not feel right, you have thirty days to return it for a full refund, we only ask that the piece comes back in the condition it left us in.

User submissions

When you send a tip, a photograph or a story you grant us permission to share it on the site and in the newsletter, always with credit. You keep ownership of your work and can ask us to take it down at any moment.

Limits of liability

Touristic is offered as is, without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for travel arrangements you make based on our content, nor for third-party websites we link to. Common sense, as always, travels well.
