Touristic is a brand operated by TELYX SERVIÇOS E SISTEMAS, a company registered in Portugal under VAT number PT318894696. Articles are written and maintained by the Touristic Editorial Team.

Our mission

We publish independent travel guides to Portugal: cities, villages, food, nature, festivals and practical advice for living and working here. No destination pays to appear in our stories, and our recommendations reflect what we believe is genuinely worth your time.

Editorial approach

Research. Each article starts from official sources such as municipalities, tourism boards, museums, transport operators and event organisers, combined with first-hand knowledge of the places we cover.

Fact-checking. Opening hours, prices, routes, dates and booking rules are checked against official websites before publication. Where details change often, we say so and point readers to the official source.

Updates. We review articles regularly and refresh them when information changes. The date shown on each article reflects its publication or latest refresh.

Photos. Images come from our own work or from openly licensed collections such as Wikimedia Commons. Every third-party photo is credited with its author and licence, with a link to the original source.
